The Courses
10km Run: Starting in the Metung Town centre on Metung Rd
at 9:00am (See race map details) finishing 10km at the Metung Hotel.
5km Run: Starting in the Metung Town centre on Metung Rd
at 9:00am (See race map details) run 5km and finishing at the Metung Hotel.
5km Walk: Starting in the Metung Town centre on Metung Rd
at 9:15am (See race map details) walking 5km and finishing at the Metung Hotel.
Race day aerobics warm up will be held on the Metung green by Sue McKenzie from R-U-Fit
Parking
There is ample parking around Metung Yacht Club.
Road Closure
Please note that Metung Rd from Kurnai Ave to Shaving Point will be closed, Kurnai Ave, will be closed to traffic until 11am 14th November.
One lane traffic will be in place for residence to join Archibald Dr to Mairburn Rd for access to Metung Rd
Aid Stations
There will be water stations at the halfway mark, turn around
points, and finish. St John Ambulance officers will be in attendance at the finish.
Facilities
Toilets are available at: Metung yacht club, Shaving Point & beach road near the pier.
Please note: any items left are done so at the owner’s risk.
Family Fun & Entertainment
Live music, entertainment, face painting and jumping castle.
Sausage sizzle, hot chocolate & tea/coffee will be available after the event.
Prizes
For those participating in the timed races there will be prizes awarded for the following categories:
- Age under 16 - Girls and Boys 5km and 10km race
- Open - Male and Female 5km and 10km race
- Age 40 - 55 Male and Female 5km and 10km race
- Over 55's - Male and Female 5km and 10km race
- Corporate teams 10km race
- And last but not least 1st place Male and Female 5km and 10km race will be racing for the perpetual trophy. second and third prizes will be awarded in the Age over 16 category

Last minute sign ups on the day will be welcomed, but get in early as places are limited to 750 total
